Mae Hong Son (The Town of Three Mists) is nestled in a deep valley hemmed in by high mountain ranges, Mae Hong Son, bordering Burma, is one of the remotest provinces in Thailand. Tourists are drawn to the area thanks to its pristine virgin forests, spectacular mountains, lush valleys, indigenous wildlife and unique hill-tribes. Pai district has currently evolved as Thailand 'hippiest' suspend-outs, second only to Koh Pha-ngan.
